During these times, the library has had to figure out new ways to reach
out and interact with our communities in order to stay with our mission
to enrich, enlighten, and entertain.
While the buildings are closed, the library is always open virtually and
our wifi is always on. While we ask everyone to follow social distancing
rules, public wifi is available outside every
Buffalo & Erie County Public Library.

Book Club
Book Club has been conducted via Zoom Cloud Meetings since mid-
March. Participants are asked to email me directly at if they would like to attend the meeting. I then
send out the Zoom meeting invite an hour before the meeting starts.
The next meeting will be held Monday, June 15 (venue TBD) and we will
be discussing The Bird King by G. Willow Wilson.
The title can be found via the library’s Overdrive and Libby catalogs for
download and is one of the titles which is always available (see below).**
New! The B&ECPL now has an eBook book club collection with titles that
can be checked out and read on a device by an unlimited number of book
club readers. It’s free & easy with your library card!**

Creativity Club
For school age children.
Run by Youth Services Librarian Pamela Edholm.
Art submission requests are made via the GI Library Facebook
page a week ahead of time. Submissions are emailed to the
library’s gmail account, then put into a slideshow, announced on
Facebook and posted on You Tube.
